The Book of Eliphaz
1. The word of the Lord that came unto Eliphaz, the son of Josiah, on mount Carmel in the land of Manasseh. 2. And the Lord said to Eliphaz: behold, the days cometh wherein I shall unleash great division and quarrel upon this land. 3. Its people have turned away from me and grow weary of obeying the word of the Lord. 4. And those loyal to God shall wander from the vastness of the sea unto the splendor of the mighty ocean, and from the mountains to the east through the plains in the west, 5. they shall hasten to seek the word of the Lord, and shall find it not. 6. Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying: go and cry in the ears of the house of Jacob, and all the families of Israel. 7. For they have defiled this land with their wickedness, and I shall suffer it no longer. 8. Out of the east a heinous force shall emerge and cast its shadow upon all the dwellers of the land. 9. And in every province, and in every city, there shall be a great cry; for the blood of the innocent is spilled. 10. The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the juvenile and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs. 11. And I shall give the land and all that is therein, to the hands of strangers: I the Lord God have spoken it.

Chapter 1
1. Yet even in the times of despair and anguish I shall not forget the faithful. 2. I will raise up a remnant who will cling onto me and who shall not erase my name from their hearts. 3. To those who walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; 4. I will give peace in the land, in time of war; and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid; 5. and I will rid evil of the land, and neither shall the sword go through your fields. 6. And I will give thee the treasures of Japheth, and hidden riches of Ham, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, who call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. 7. And there is hope in thine end, and thy children shall come again to their own border; 8. and they shall need not lift up sword against an invader, neither shall they behoove to learn the art of war. 9. Again there shall be heard in this place, even in the cities of Manasseh, and in the streets of Megiddo, 10. the voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the groom, and the voice of the bride, 11. the voice of them that shall say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good. 12. And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the Lord’s name is praised, the faithful shall have joy and gladness and wealth. 13. Upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness. 14. For they have not forsaken me when evil was great. 15. And thou shalt rejoice before the Lord thy God, thou, and thy kinsman, and the alien of faraway land, and the fatherless, and the widow, and the orphan that are among you. 16. And thou shalt know that thy temple shall be in peace. 17. Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon thine land.

Chapter 3
1. And the Lord said unto me: Son of man, I send thee to the rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me. 2. For they went and served idols and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the celestial bodies, which I have not commanded. 3. For I am the Lord thy God; behold, I created the sun, and moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, and the earth whereon thou liest. 4. I have formed the world and its inhabitants as a wondrous ball and it moveth to and fro by my command; and I scattered the offspring of the sons of Noah abroad to Tarshish, and to Babel, and to Javan, and to Teman; 5. and their appearance has changed in each place, but they stand erect as all other children of Adam. 6. And hitherto there are lands bestowed with light while others are veiled in darkness; some embraced by day while others are enshrouded in night; some bask in summer while others endure winter. 7. And thus sang king David: O Lord, I will praise thee; marvellous are thy works; in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches. 8. While the earth remaineth, cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. 9. The Lord God made the earth, and the sun and moon; and the planets and all the stars that are in heaven. 10. Thus saith the Lord God of Israel: thou shalt have no other gods before me and thou shalt not make thee any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above. 11. Yet the children of Israel did evil in the eyes of the Lord, and worshipped the sun, and moon, and the stars, and forgat the Lord their God. 12. And I shall put thee to the sword and avenge the quarrel of my covenant; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of thine enemy. 13. And I shall disperse you among the heathen, and a sword shall pursue you: and your land shall lie barren, and your cities shall lay in ruins.

Chapter 4
1. Then I saw a vision which I greatly feared. 2. From the land of Magog came a great army of three hundred thousand mighty men of valour. 3. They conveyed shields and drew bows and had seven thousand chariots of iron. 4. From the land of winter they came, and their skin was as pale as the snow of mount Hermon. 5. Also the sons of the kingdom of Gog, which are called by the name Scythians, joined Magog in the war. 6. From the besieged cities rose a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night. 7. The soldiers of Gog and Magog came upon the slain and spoiled the cities which lay in waste. 8. And they hough the horses and burn the chariots with fire, 9. and the great army chased the survivors who fled, and many were overthrown and wounded or slain. 10. And on the other side of the valley, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords hence marcheth; 11. Zarephath, Sepharad, Ashkenaz, Grecia and Tiras with them; all of them with shield and helmet. 12. About six hundred thousand on foot that were men and the number of chariots of iron were twenty and two thousand. 13. Now they gathered together their armies to battle near Khorev which belongeth to Gomer near the river Ister. 14. And the armies of Gog and Magog went out to battle led by the king of Magog Vladeti; 15. The plain of Gomer saw a very great slaughter, and the waters of the river Ister turned to blood. 16. Then the king of Magog cursed the Lord God and saith: 17. I now come up against the Lord in this place and destroyed it; you trusted in the Lord to save thee, and thine people lay slain. 18. For the God ye worship is weak, and it came to pass, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer to thine prayers. 19. Whereon do ye trust? how much less shall your God deliver you out of mine hand? 20. And the offspring of Amalek shall take his revenge on JEHOVAH and his people were fallen by the sword! 21. And I saw a white horse that he sat on, and he went forth conquering the lands of Japheth. 22. In the years of the reign of Vladeti king of Magog the days on the earth were as a shadow. 23. And there was a famine in the land and a great plague cometh with it.

Chapter 5
1. And Ead, king of Synnea, had done evil in the eyes of the Lord. 2. And he goeth and maketh a covenant with Vladeti king of Magog to give the land of the Lord to the heathens who knew not the name of the Lord. 3. And those men who did not uphold the evils of king Ead, died by the sword before him; 4. for the fear of the Lord fell upon them, and they believed the word of God. 5. And the king of Synnea sent his chief captain Rasseon to the land of Tayfom with a great army. 6. For they have been rebellious against the king for they did which is right and good in the eyes of the Lord. 7. And they cried unto the Lord and the Lord wrought a great salvation for all who call upon his name. 8. For he hath promised: Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee; 9. and the people of Tayfom helped the Jews and proclaimed peace unto them. 10. The wrath of the Lord was kindled against Ead, and the Lord smote his army with a very great plague. 11. For the Lord God hath promised to fight for those who called upon the Lord, and hold them peace. 12. And it was so, that the hand of the Lord was against Synnea with a very great destruction. 13. And afterward the Lord God hath smote the proud and haughty Vladeti king of Magog, who cursed the Lord God. 14. And the Lord executed his judgment against Magog for their evil ways and they knew that the Lord is God. 15. And he plead against them with pestilence and with blood; then the Lord rained upon them and upon their bands, and upon the many people of Magog, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 16. And much blood was shed upon the earth and the rivers therein, and the land was desolated and in ruins. 17. Therefore that land shall no more be called Magog, but the land of slaughter: for they shall bury in Magog, till there be no place. 18. And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted. 19. And all the heathen, which are called by name, shall declare: ‘Tis the Lord God who hath wrought this.

Chapter 6
1. Now after these things the Lord was rejoiced in Megiddo, and the voice of weeping was no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. 2. And the Land of Israel was full with the blessing of the Lord: 3. and all the kingdoms of the earth of His dominion and all the people, blessed the inheritance of the Lord. 4. Also that day they offered great charity, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great wonder that the joy of Megiddo was heard even afar off. 5. And the ransomed of the Lord hath returned, and came to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads; 6. for their mourning turned into cheer, and they rejoiced from their sorrow. 7. And in the land of peace they praise His name in the dance and sing praises unto Him. 8. And the whole wickedness was consumed in smoke, for the reign of malice hath passed from the land. 9. And thus sang king David: Blessed are they that dwell in thy house; they will be still praising thee. 10. Then the Lord hath spoken to me, and saith: 11. Write the vision which thou hath seen, and make it plain upon tables, and disperse them through the countries.

Chapter 7
1. And afterwards the Lord saith unto me: 2. Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words which I will tell thee of. 3. I have created the earth, and sun, and moon, and the planets and all the stars. 4. Out of void I made matter; the darkness turned to light; cold altered into heat. 5. I made other worlds and hath destroyed them, ere this present and permanent one. 6. I scattered constellations in the heavens which maketh Hyades, Orion, and Pleiades thus helping thine ships sailing in the mighty waters. 7. I placed the wandering stars in motion for thine seedtime and harvest, and gave thee the sun to light thy crops and to warm thy skin. 8. The sun to rule by day: the moon and stars to rule by night. 9. For man and all living creature upon the land and every plant of the field needeth light and warmth. 10. The sun rideth upon the heaven and giveth thee spring, and summer, and autumn and winter. 11. And at night the moon will shed the light of the sun, 12. for the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light upon the earth. 13. And I created great creatures to roam the land and the sea, 14. the leviathan, and the great serpent and the dragon. 15. And I have slain them and consumed them from the face of the earth, 16. for man and beast could not dwell together. 17. And I hath formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, 18. and the land was filled with them, for I am the Almighty God. 19. And I created man and called him Adam, and Adam called his wife’s name Eve, for she was caring and gentle. 20. Male and female I created them, and together they may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. 21. I have planted a garden eastward in Eden; and put Adam and Eve there to dwell. 22. And I have planted trees in the garden, the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. 23. Beforehand I knew the world would contain both righteous and wicked men, 24. for I hath given men the knowledge of good and evil, upon eating the fruit of the tree. 25. And Adam hath eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded him not eat. 26. Therefore I sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to roam the land as mortal. 27. Then the earth was corrupt before me and filled with violence. 28. And I brought forth a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, 29. but the righteous, and the faithful, and the merciful and the upright man I spared.

Chapter 8
1. Those who do that which is right and good in the eyes of the Lord and behave as I commanded, shall fear no evil: 2. and the angels of punishment shall not harm them. 3. And the covenant which I made between me and the righteous and the faithful and the merciful and the upright man and every living creature, 4. shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud of darkness over the earth. 5. And I shall remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. 6. for I am the Lord, the God of Israel, which created and made the earth and all the host of heaven, 7. and I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen and build it as in the days of old.

Chapter 9
1. And the Lord hath also said unto me: 2. I have sent prophets and prophetesses to my people, O Israel, and to the Gentiles, 3. for my name is high and lofty, and should be praised by all nations. 4. And I revealed to Enoch the son of Jared the secrets of the heavens and the signs giveth by the Messiah. 5. For Enoch walked with me and he pleased me with his faith and devotion. 6. And Enoch was the seventh from Adam, and I shewed unto him that I cometh with ten thousands saints; 7. and the Messiah, who is flesh and blood, shall be borne by a maiden of the tribe of Benjamin, 8. and she shall call his name Immanu-El, for I am with you. 9. And Enoch was a man of truth, and I sent him to guide mankind to the path of righteousness, 10. for he walked with the Lord, even as his father before him had walked. 11. And Enoch was a man of righteous heart, and his pious ways shone brightly in the eyes of God. 12. And I have bestowed favour on Enoch among the prophets of the descendants of Adam, 13. for he was a man of great patience and knowledge, and knew good from evil. 14. And I gave him a vision of the future of the earth and the fate of its inhabitants, 15. as I have shown thee the fate of the nations who hath been rebellious against me, I am the Lord. 16. And I have cleaned men from sin through the sacrifice of the saint, the Lamb of God. 17. And he shall pass through Judah, teacheth the word of the Lord.

Chapter 10
1. Now in the twenty seventh year of the rule of Caesar Augustus, king of Edom, 2. sixty three years reigned they in Jerusalem, and the Idumeans ruled the Jews with rigour. 3. Now, lo and behold, the lamentations of the Jews have reached mine ears, and verily, I have beheld the tyranny with which the Idumeans afflict them. 4. But Judah shall find deliverance through the eternal salvation granted by the Lord; and shall not be put to shame or confounded to all eternity. 5. And I have made a covenant with the children of Israel for I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God, 6. for the day cometh when the Lord hath wrought salvation in Israel. 7. And I have anointed a prophet of Nazareth of Galilee, and his name was Immanu-El the son of Joseph. 8. And he hath taught the word of the Lord, and he made a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah the son of Jacob, 9. for I hath promised by the name of my prophets to send salvation to the house of Jacob and the land of Zion. 10. And Rabbi Immanu-El was the disciple of Johanan of Betharabah who baptized him in the river Jordan. 11. And he hath preached across the Land, in Judah and in Samaria, in the Galilee and in the Negev, in Lachish and the Gilboa, saith: 12. Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger; 13. for the Lord thy God is a merciful God; he will not forsake thee, nor bring ruin upon thee, nor forsake the covenant He swore to thy forefathers.

Chapter 11
יא
1. And Rabbi Immanu-El had twelve disciples, and one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot the son of Simon. 2. And Judas was faithful to the Lord God with all his heart. 3. Thus, Rabbi Immanu-El hath told him the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. 4. And Judas was devout and jealous to God, and he found grace in the eyes of the Lord. 5. And Rabbi Immanu-El saith onto him: Look upon the heavens, for I hath told thee everything; lift up thine eyes and look at the cloud, and the light within it and the stars surrounding it; 6. for the star that leads the way is thine star, and the sacrifice of thee shall be of great honour. 7. The Lord is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him. 8. For the counsel of the Lord is of peace, and not of evil; let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near and be known by us. 9. And the Lord shall sacrifice the Lamb of God by the hands of Judas Iscariot and the Idumeans, 10. and it be not known nor understood that it was the favour of the Lord, for the counsel of the Lord standeth for ever. 11. And all shall know that he will turn again, and he will have compassion upon us: for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them.
Chapter 12

1. And the Lord said furthermore unto me, 2. behold, Son of man, for I reveal unto thee profound mysteries of the divine nature and the Heavenly host, 3. for only the worthy and the faithful shall know. 4. Those who trust in the Lord God and the prophets I hath sent thee and Saint Immanu-El, the Lamb of God, 5. for thine salvation is in the Lord and the messengers and the prophets and the saints. 6. And the man who shall not understand those secrets, may use them for evil, for only with great experience of wisdom and knowledge may thee perceive the words of understanding, 7. which the Lord hath revealed to Enoch and to Moses, and to Immanu-El and to Judas the son of Simon. 8. And those who are worthy shall believe in thee and be filled with reason; nor may they ask: 9. Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bewrayeth it unto us, that we may grasp it and abide by it? For it is not in heaven, neither is it beyond the sea. 10. Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: canst thou bind the chains of the Pleiades or loosen the bands of Orion? 11. Even as thou art bound to the earthly realm, the heavens obey my divine hand; 12. for I am the author of the universe, and the knower of its secrets. 13. And ye shall spread my wisdom abroad toward the four winds of heaven; for all peoples on earth will be blessed with the wisdom of the Lord.
Chapter 13
1. I am the God Almighty, the Lord God of Israel; 2. I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but not by my name JEHOVAH; 3. I am the first, and I am the last, the everlasting God; 4. and I hath commanded: thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: for I am the Lord. 5. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I shape man and beast; 6. I have made the earth, and created man upon it, my hands stretched out the heavens, 7. I comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance. 8. I am the shaper of all things and the creator of the elements of the world, and all the heavens above; 9. the stars of the heavens shall not be numbered for multitude, for they are without number, as the sand that is upon the sea. 10. I have ordained twelve constellations in the firmament, and for each and every constellation I have created thirty armies, 11. and for each and every army I have appointed thirty legions, and for each and every legion I have established thirty infantry division leaders, 12. and for each and every infantry division leader I have formed thirty military camp leaders, and for each and every military camp leader I have created thirty leaders of forts, 13. and on each and every leader of a fort I have adorned three hundred sixty and five thousand stars corresponding to the days of the year of the sun. 14. I set in motion the wandering stars, Nebo and Moloch and Chiun, which traverse the heavens; 15. and I created six portals whence the sun rises, and six portals whence the sun sets and the moon ascendeth and descendeth in these portals, 16. and the leaders of the stars and those whom they lead: six in the east and six in the west, and all following each other in accurately corresponding order. 17. I set the way of an eagle in the air and marked the way of a serpent upon a rock; I conveyed the way of a ship in the midst of the sea and made the way of the righteous man plain. 18. I the Lord do all these things. 19. And thou shalt be my servant and I will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the Lord; and I will make thee a name and a praise among all people of the earth.

Chapter 14
1. By mine hands, the earth was divided, and all the lands were formed, and all the elements created, the gold, and the silver; 2. also the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead, and the copper which is melted from the rock. 3. In the depths of the earth, I placed bdellium and onyx stone, 4. the brimstone’s fiery heart, within the rock’s core. 5. I shaped mountains and hills with my command, their roots established by my powerful hand. 6. I raised them towards the heavens and sharpened the tops of the mountains which are seen. 7. I created pools of water to nourish the woods bearing trees, 8. for every beast of the forest is mine, and every living creature of all flesh. 9. I am the Almighty, the creator of all things; 10. many shall be cleansed, made pure, and put to test, for I am the refiner of souls. 11. Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him; and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Chapter 15

1. Through faith thou shalt learn that the worlds and the elements were formed by the word of God, 2. so that things which are seen were made by the Lord who is not seen. 3. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are the elements of the world in the hand of God, 4. and yea, when two elements doth entwine, they bring forth the formation of a novel element. 5. These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created: 6. in the beginning all was void and darkness covered the heavens. 7. Then the Lord spoke, and a burst of shining light emerged. 8. And the angels declare the glory of God; the seraphim proclaim the work of his hands: and all shall clap the hands over thee. 9. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. 10. By the wisdom of God the world is built, and through understanding it is established; knowledge fills its wandering stars with rare and beautiful treasures. 11. The ordinances of heaven and earth are the handiwork of the Almighty, inscribed in the frame of time and the eternity above. 12. Blessed are thee who seek knowledge and understanding of God, for they shall be enriched with the treasures of the Lord. 13. Reverence for the Lord marks the commencement of knowledge, but the foolish disdain wisdom and guidance. 14. He has fashioned every thing beautifully in its time, for the Lord is beyond time: 15. He is prior to all things, and in Him, all things are sustained. 16. He hath placed sense in their hearts, but no one can fathom the work that God maketh from beginning to end. 17. Through God all things were made; without the Lord nothing was made that has been made. 18. It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of the wise is to search out a matter. 19. And thee shall give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
Chapter 16

1. And the Lord God formed man and all living creature of the terrestrial dust, and breathed into their nostrils the breath of life. 2. And the life of every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air is in the blood. 3. But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: 4. or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee: 5. who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this? 6. For all that exists in the world, the desires of the flesh, the longings of the eyes, and the arrogance of life is of the world, 7. for it shall not be forgotten that the imagination of man’s heart is of a beast from his youth; 8. seeing he bestoweth to all: life, and breath, and all things; and ye shalt find favour and good understanding in the eyes of God. 9. The image of man is marvelously and wonderfully made, a labyrinthine and intricate work of God’s wisdom. 10. For the invisible things from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made. 11. Stand and ponder the marvelous works of the Almighty: dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the radiance of His cloud to shine? 12. Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the marvelous craftsmanship of the One who possesses perfect knowledge? 13. for the earth belongs to the Lord, and all that it holds; the universe and its inhabitants are His.
Chapter 17
1. The Almighty knoweth the ordinances of heaven; for He set the dominion thereof in the earth. 2. He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and the chambers of the south are placed by Him. 3. Can the heavens give showers without the Lord? 4. and without the dew of heaven from above, shall corn and wine be plenty? 5. For God hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and createth the wind, and the clouds and the rain. 6. He formed the celestial heavens, spanning from one edge to the other, as a perfect sphere; 7. Its magnificence measured half that span, and a circuit of twice that span encircled it. 8. As the heavens are held in perfect balance by the unseen hand, so too do all things feel the pull of His divine order. 9. He made a mighty whirlwind, standeth in awe and wonder, filled with radiant lights and sparks; 10. the brilliance of fireflies, the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber. 11. The Lord’s power flows as unseen light, revealing His secrets like lightning from His mighty hand.

Chapter 18
יח
1. For God is not the originator of disorder, but of harmony; 2. And the Lord changeth the times and the seasons; 3. for it is He who hath created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, and all the planets that reel in their courses. 4. He unveileth the profound and secret matters: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. 5. The Lord lighteneth the heavens and the earth; for he commanded, and they were created. 6. Lend thine ear to advice and accept discipline, that thou mayest be wise in thine final days. 7. Incline thine heart to knowledge and your ears to the words of understanding. 8. For by the Almighty were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are on earth, 9. both the seen and the unseen, all things wrought into existence by Him and for Him. 10. Wisdom is granted by the Lord, and from His words flow knowledge and understanding. 11. The Lord conveys sound wisdom for the righteous and guards the path of His saints. 12. When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge becomes sweet to thine soul; discretion shall preserve thee, and understanding shall guard thee, so ye might be imbued with the knowledge of the divine through wisdom and spiritual insight. 13. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward them that fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. 14. And God said: because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; 15. but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest serve the Lord thy God; 16. wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none hath had that hath been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like. 17. Go ye therefore, and speak to all the nations of the wisdom of God, and teacheth them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded thee.
Chapter 19

1. Now it came to pass upon a day and the people believed in the word of God, and repent of their evil deeds against the Lord; 2. and the Lord God, is merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin. 3. And the Lord said, I have pardoned and forgave their iniquity and their sin; and I saw their works, that they turned from their evil way. 4. For if ye turn again unto the Lord, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land, 5. for I, the Lord thy God, will not turn away from you, if ye return unto me. 6. If thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob. 7. For now will I break thine yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder. 8. Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with thee and it shall be an everlasting covenant; and I will place thee, and multiply thee, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of thy land for evermore. 9. And every one shall say: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God. 10. And all the congregation made a covenant with the King of Kings, 11. and the Lord said unto them: Behold, for I shall reign, and in the land shall be peace, for all the children of Adam and Eve.
